TOTAL TIME:
50 mins
YIELD:
12 bars
Ingredients
  • 1 cup chopped Halloween candy
  • 2 sticks butter, partially melted
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups flour
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a bowl, microwave sticks of butter for 1 minute. They should be soft and partially melted.
  2. Add butter to a large bowl with sugars. Use a hand mixer and beat until combined.
  3. Add in eggs and beat after each addition.
  4. Add in vanilla and combine.
  5. Add salt, baking powder and flour to bowl and lightly combine with wooden spoon.
  6. Finely chop Halloween candy and fold into batter.
  7. Grease an 8x8 pan and pour batter evenly.
  8. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. *If you notice the top browning too soon, place aluminum foil over pan.
  10. Immediately out of the oven, press in more chopped candy to the top and let cool.
* NOTES

*I used Snickers, Milky Way, Twix, M&Ms & Peanut Butter Cups. You can use any chocolate candy.

Overview

These bars scream all the Halloween fun.

Have too much leftover candy? Make these bars. Have a Halloween party? Make these bars.

Seriously, these bars are so easy to make and fun to decorate!

These are chewy and filled with all my beloved chocolate candy flavors. I used a select few, but you can make these with any chocolate candy you have on hand.

Enjoy!
