Ah, yes. Never a dull moment.

Ah, yes. Another training camp in the books.

Like I said in a previous post, this is always my least favorite time of year. I wonder if I'll ever be able to enjoy Augusts again (lol, dramatic, I know).

Sometimes things don't go exactly as planned. I've learned that over and over in the last five years.

But, as a woman of faith, I can't help but to think that sometimes our plan isn't the best plan for us. That our Heavenly Father has an even greater plan.

I once saw a photo of a little girl holding a teddy bear saying "But, I like this one." Across from her was Jesus Christ holding a larger teddy bear behind his back.

Isn't that so enlightening? In moment like these, I can't help but think that Heavenly Father has something better for us. We just need to trust in Him.

What's funny about my husband being in a profession that is so public is that people see one thing on Twitter and then my phone starts blowing up. I'd say majority of the time, what you see online is completely false. But when it's getting shared, reposted, commented on it's hard to ignore it, even for close family members.

But to protect myself and my sanity for that matter, I ignore the messages and social media altogether.

What matters is that I know what's going on (kind of), my family is healthy and we are together.

If you're in the NFL going through something you hadn't planned, know that you'll be okay. You never think you're prepared to handle a situation until it's right in front of you.

If you're a fan of the NFL, please be kind.

I'll leave it at that.
